11/5/10 Club Handicap 2010
Club members - the dates for the 2010 Club Handicap have been announced. They are: Tuesday 25th May, Tuesday 22nd June, Tuesday 13th July and Tuesday 7th September. The venue for the Handicap Series will be Madeley Sports Centre and start time will be 7pm. Club members - please do your best to support this exciting new event.

14/3/10 IMPORTANT IRONBRIDGE HALF MARATHON INFORMATION
If your name is on the list of entrants (check here) and you HAVE NOT received your number by Race Day then there will be someone at Race HQ from 9am onwards to sort out any unarrived or lost numbers. Replacements will be provided.

Club members are invited to attend an EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting) at the Club HQ at Horsehay Village Golf Centre at 8.30 Thursday March 11th. This is to discuss recent amendments to the Club Constitution.

13/2/10 - Midlands 12 & 6 Stage relays, 20th March 2010  The club is interested in entering a team (or teams) in the 12 & 6 stage relays at Sutton Park. We have entered in the past and it has always been a most enjoyable outing. Relay legs are 3 miles (approx)  and 5.4 miles (approx) for the Men and 3 miles for the Ladies. All abilities are welcome. Please get in touch with Grace Hough (as soon as possible) if you are interested.

12/02/10 - Pancake Race Cancelled
Just a line to say the Pancake Race scheduled for 19/2/10 has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Sorry folks, looks like you'll have to make your own after all..!

04/02/10 Ironbridge Half Marathon - 438 runners have signed up so far for the race on 21st March. It's filling fast, especially as Stafford Half is now full. If you haven't entered yet  - please be quick as there are NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY.

04/02/10 - Last Call for Cross Country - the last Cross Country Fixture of the 2009/10 season takes place on Saturday 13th February at West Bromwich. There will be a Mens Race(Birmingham League) and also a Ladies Race (Midland League). If you are interested then please see John Strange on club night or leave a message on the Club Forum.

29/1/10 - It's a Pancake Race!!
Telford Harriers' Mandy Wall is running the Virgin London Marathon to raise money for Cancer Research. As part of the fund raising she has organised a pancake race on Friday, February 19th at Oakengates Leisure Centre  from 6pm - 9pm. Entry is £5 and include pancakes!! All proceeds go to Cancer Research.

14/01/10 Training OFF  Due to the poor state of the roads around Horsehay Golf Village the Club has decided to call training OFF tonight.

14/01/10 Committee Meeting  The Club Committee Meeting planned for Tonight (Thurs 14/1) at Horsehay has been cancelled due to the adverse weather. A new date will be advised in due course.

14/01/10 Cross Country Update -  Birmingham League this Saturday (16th)  Meet at Horsehay @ 11.45am. If you are making your own way there and using SatNav the Postcode is LE10 1LE

02/01/10 Cross Country Update:  Happy New Year to our readers! Club Entries for the Midland XC (30/1) and National XC (27/2) need to be in ASAP so please get in touch with John Strange, or leave a message on the Club Forum before 6th January. Also there is a Birmingham League Race at Nuneaton on 16/1/10 and once again John will be collecting names.
