06/05/2008 - Harriers Absolute
Beginners Sessions
Want to try a bit of running during the warm Summer nights? Have you never run
before, and are concerned a running club may be 'too good' or 'too quick'
for you?
Telford Harriers are starting their 'Absolute Beginners 2008' nights at
Stirchley Recreation Centre (note: Stirchley - NOT the Club HQ at Horsehay)
at 7pm on Monday 12th May. These sessions are aimed at getting an absolute
beginner up to a standard of 3-4 miles without stopping, and are held each
Monday through the Summer until the first week of September 2008.
There are NO minimum standard requirements - but those taking part are
advised to seek medical advice before commencing any fitness programme.
