Telford Harriers is a busy club; as well as our athletes taking part in events both nationally and internationally, we like to organise things a little closer to home.

Club Summer Handicap Series

The 2011 Series is now underway - scroll down for the latest results:

STRUCTURE:
6 possible races – 4 to count
All races on the Madeley Handicap course – used in 2010
3 Tuesday & 3 Thursday races
7:00PM for a 7:15 start time

HANDICAPS:
Runners who ran at least 3 races last year – their handicap will based on their average race time from the best 3 times from last year – this will remain fixed for the series.

Runners who ran less than 3 races last year – their handicap will based on their average race time from last year – the organizer has the right to change the handicap during the series as necessary.

New runners – their handicap will be based on a 5k/10k race time – The organizer will alter the handicap during the series as necessary.

Thursday 23rd JUNE
Tuesday 12th JULY

The Tour of Telford Stage Race

The Tour of Telford is a very informal 'Stage Race' held over several days. Club members and their guests and friends of all standards are welcome.

This year, the Tour takes place from Monday 20th June - Thursday 23rd June..
Don't worry if you can't commit to all of the dates - you can do the race by proxy! We trust you to go off and run on your own (we provide a course map) and then tell us how you did. Yes, it's that easy!
There are 5 races to complete in 4 days. But don't worry - they're not too long.
And ... it's FREE. Where else will you get such a bargain?
