The 2013 BUSCH UK
Ironbridge Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 24th March
at 10.30am...Telford Town Park, Telford, TF3 4AQ
.... and Telford Harriers welcome friends old and new alike.
| What's the route
like? The route is usually the same but the direction taken varies from year to year. This year, it starts as always in Telford's Town Park and meanders down past Blists Hill Victorian Town to historic Coalport along the Silkin Way. Runners cross the Coalport Bridge and pick up the disused Severn Valley railway line to the Iron Bridge, where the photographers and the public will gather to watch and support. The route then takes runners along the Wharfage before climbing back up to Coalbrookdale and returning back along Rough Park Way and the Silkin Way. The Half Marathon route is mainly off-road on quiet footpaths and bridleways with only a small stretch of road in Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge to negotiate. We hope you will come along and take up the challenge and join the hundreds of runners who come back year after year and rate our race very highly. |

Information: DON'T FORGET your £1.00 for Car Parking in Telford!! There will be a cut-off time of 2 hours 45 minutes for the race and marshalls and time-keepers will be withdrawn at 1.15pm.
